USTA Tennis Team Captain Combo Pack
Perfect for understanding what to expect in a new season.
This combo pack includes three reports:
- One League Flight Scouting Report, described here
- One Team Player Trend Report, described here.
- One Appealed and Self Rated Players Report, described here.
The League Flight Scouting report helps Captains understand which teams in a league are the strongest. The Team Player Trend Report to will show the strength of each player on one team - use this for your team or another team in the flight. The Appealed and Self Rated Players report will show which teams in one league may be stacked with self-rated players or have players susceptible to the three-strikes disqualification rule. These reports can help Captains make smart line-up decisions.
Note that the League Flight Scouting Report is currently available for leagues with 3 lines of doubles and 0, 1, or 2 lines of singles. At this time, the report is not available for Mixed, Tri-Level, or Combo, though we expect these leagues to be added in the future.

Championship Flight Scouting Report

This USTA Championship Event Flight Scouting Report is for National, Sectional / section, Regional, District, or Area Championship Events. The report is based on the latest Tennis League Analytics (TLA) Player Strength Rating.
For each team you'll see indicators showing the top eight doubles players' TLA player strength ratings. Leagues with singles will also include indicators for the top three singles players. The report shows all the teams ranked in order. Then shows each flight ranked in order.
If you want to find out how competitive your roster will be during a championship event, this report can help. You'll find where adjustments to a line-up may help improve your chances.
Please allow as much lead time as possible.

The Flight Scouting Report shows the strength of each team in an adult local tennis league flight. The forecast is based on the TLA Player Strength Rating for players on team rosters at the time the report is generated.
For each team you'll see indicators showing the top eight doubles players' TLA player strength ratings. Leagues with singles will also include indicators for the top three singles players.
If you want to find out how competitive your roster will be during the season, this report can help.
The Flight Scouting Report makes a great gift for a tennis team captain, especially in the first half of the season.

USTA Tennis Team Player Trend Report
This report provides a concise view of rating strength and consistency for every player on a team. On one graph you'll see every player's starting, ending, lowest, and highest strength rating for the most recent 12-month period available.
You'll see which players are on an upward trend as well as which players are not. A narrow range between a player's lowest and highest rating shows a player with consistency.
The Team Player Trend report will help a team captain make better line-up decisions and makes a great gift.

Appealed and Self Rated Players for all Teams in a Flight
It's often useful to know which team's in your flight have Self-rated or Appealed-rating players. This will let you know whether a team might have been actively recruiting or perhaps is made up of new players.
The Appealed and Self Rated Players report lists all players in a flight, grouped by team, who have a self rating (designated by an S in the USTA website) or an appealed rating (designated by an A in the USTA system).
You could spend several hours looking this up. But why do that when you could be on the tennis court. Let us do the work for you.
This report will help you find out which teams may be trying to stack their roster, which teams might have players susceptible to disqualification (DQ), and/or which teams might have players new to USTA.
The Appealed and Self Rated Players report also makes a great gift for a tennis team captain anytime during the season.
